You ever wonder the guilt that comes with that request? A simple, die with me, please will make someone feel guilty long after they're dead. It weighs down a soul when they're alive, you know.

You don't ask someone to do that. If you do, you're a selfish child who can't bare the thought of being alone.

[ The one person Ian would ask to do that can't die and would sooner kill him herself if he did. But he knows how guilty people feel about it afterward. Realizing that they tied another human being to them come sickness or death. You die, I die. Stupid idea. ]
